Jack Hammer is a supporting character in Robots. He is voiced by Alan Rosenberg.
Appearance and PersonalityEdit
Jack Hammer is a rusty, copperish orange robot with dark brown eyes. He has a hammer and what appears to be a wrench sticking out of the top of his head, resembling ears. He also has a short, round body and wears a metal "apron".
Jack first appears when Fender, Piper, Crank, Lug and Diesel visit his hardware store to buy a new neck joint and reattach Fender's head. He informs Fender that his store no longer sells spare parts (unbeknowest to him and the other robots, this was because of Ratchet and Madame Gasket's scheming). He comes off as dry-witted and unsympathetic at first, as he makes fun of Fender because he has been "outmoded". He also attempts to sell the gang upgrades. However, after Piper scolds him, Jack stops teasing Fender and apologizes for not having the parts. He appears again later on when a mob of angry outmodes is rioting in front of his store because he is no longer selling spare parts. He quickly points Rodney out as the robot who fixed Fender's neck, making all the angry robots forget about him and turn to Rodney for help.
He is a remade version of the male robot from the original testing short. Without the red eyes.
